Just wanted to take a moment to thank the Let’s Talk About Disney folks for mentioning my scrappin’ stuff. They’ve got me thinking about putting together a video podcast. I’ll try to think of something that would be of interest to folks. Anyway… just wanted to thank Mike and Jana for the mention. Y’all stop by their site at http://letstalkaboutdisney.com/LTAD/. Tons of fun! And make sure you listen to the next LTAD Live. Lots and lots of fun!!!!

Hey everyone,
It’s not scrapping related, but if you have kids you’ll want to check out this fabulous website - Scouting with the Mouse! The best part of the website is the linking of Scouting requirements and Disney activities. Say you have a child working on their Communications merit badge or their Heritages belt loop. Just pop on out to Scouting with the Mouse and you can find Disney related activities that will help them meet the requirements.
Don’t have a Scout? You’ll still love this site because those Scouting requirements provide a wonderful outline for teaching your kids various things. And what parent doesn’t like their children learning? And learning while they’re having fun with Disney? Well, that’s just wonderful!!!
As Walt said “Crowded classrooms and half-day sessions are a tragic waste of our greatest national resource - the minds of our children.” He also said “I would rather entertain and hope that people learned something than educate people and hope they were entertained.” At Scouting with the Mouse we believe children learn so much more when they’re having fun. So we use the guidelines and requirements of Scouting as our jump off point for what to teach the children and then find pixie-dusted activities that meet these requirements. Children have fun while they’re learning new things. It’s a parent’s dream!
Hope you’ll give it a go. Check out Scouting with the Mouse.

Okay, well, we do things a bit differently here in the South. Train schedules are always a suggested time of arrival and departure, not carved in stone. Oh, who am I kidding….. I totally forgot that I was supposed to post something for the blog train yesterday. Hope y’all will forgive me and enjoy this freebie. It’s a sampler from my new Ho Ho Ho kit.

You can pick it up by clicking here. Sorry for the delay and I hope you’re enjoying all the goodies on the blog train!
